Rebecca Donlan is Assistant Director for Collection Management at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she has worked since May 2000.  A graduate of the University of Iowa School of Library and Information Science, she has worked in public and academic libraries since 1990, serving in reference, cataloging, serials, and children’s departments.  Currently she is Editor-in-Chief of Library Collections, Acquisitions, and Technical Services.  She was a columnist for The Reference Librarian, and was former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery, and Electronic Reserve.   She has a long-standing interest in how the library engages students and faculty in the scholarly conversation, from her recent poster session at the 2015 Charleston Conference entitled “Stop, Collaborate & Listen: How the Librarian-Publisher Relationship can Facilitate the Development of Information Literacy Curriculum,” all the way back to 2004, when she co-presented “Fostering Undergraduate Research through Rhetorically-Based Library Instruction” at the 10th Annual Conference of the Council for Undergraduate Research.  Her complete CV is online at http://library.fgcu.edu/FAC/rdonlan/DonlanCVOct2015.pdf.
