Andrew Wesolek serves as Head of Digital Scholarship at Clemson University. In this role, he captures the intellectual output of Clemson University and works to make it openly available to any researcher with an internet connection. He also works closely with Clemson University Press to publish several open access journals, and manages a digitization lab responsible for preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Clemson University and the Upstate of South Carolina. He is professionally active in the areas of institutional repository development and management, library-based publishing, and Open Educational Resources. He recent edited book, Making Institutional Repositories Work was published by Purdue University Press in 2015 and he is currently preparing a book titled Open Educational Resources: A Field Guide For Academic Librarians under contract with Pacific University Press and expected in early 2018. He is professionally active in the Coalition of Open Access Policy Institutions, the Library Leadership and Management Association, and he co-chairs the Scholarly Communications interest group of the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries.



Wesolek also serves on the Editorial board of the Journal of Librarianship and Scholarly Communication and as a founding editor or the Journal of Copyright in Education and Librarianship.
